Hi everyone kind of new to forum posting so I hope I'm doing this right lol
I'm having a major problem with the sims 3, i have it installed on my windows 7 laptop and went to go on it for the first time in almost a month because I have been super busy with work and there was a game update available, so I installed it and now the sims won't even open. I double click the icon on my desktop and the circle alternative to the old hourglass but the programme never opens. I have tried opening the task manager but the programme doesn't show in it so I can't end task, ive also tried running as administrator and troubleshooting compatibility even though it cant be a compatibility issue as it has always worked on my laptop. I've tried restarting my computer and scanning for viruses but nothing has helped. I don't want to uninstall the entire programme as I am not sure if i still have all the game disks that are installed at the moment I only want to do that if nothing else works.
Someone please help I am having withdrawl symptoms
