Deleting Memories in the Sims 3 Showtime

I'm not sure if this is quite the right place to ask this, but since it's a troubleshooting issue, it seemed like the place. I can't delete memories in the Sims 3 Showtime. I anyone else having this problem? Or, even better, if you have had this problem... has anyone fixed it? I am a little reluctant to download mods to delete/prevent memories from occurring and truly don't mind deleting them the old fashion way... but that doesn't seem to be an option. Memories have literally trashed my game before (oh save error 12, you are the bane of my existence) so any help to get rid of them on Showtime would be much appreciated. Or alternatively, if there really is no other option a tried and true, safe, and well-functioning mod that might help?

Sorry, I haven't seen a memory for ages so I don't know if the deletion is broken or not.

I can't think of an efficient way of deleting them without mods because you will probably want to delete the memories of your non-actives as well.  Twallan's Master Controller will get rid of them and prevent new ones from happening but if you want something lighter, then perhaps Shimrod's mod can help.  I don't think Shimrod's will delete the ones already formed but it will prevent new memories.  Check out this excellent thread by NonaMena for information on mods and links. http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php/topic,9192.0.html

You can still delete memories in showtime. The little delete icon is on the left now. First I couldn't find it also.
