The Mysterious Gnome?

Hi all,

I purchased the "When worlds collide collection" and within that collection there is a teleportation machine that my Sim can use to go anywhere in the town. When I go on the teleportation machine at random times it enters my Sim into a world called "Dreamscape." When my Sim is stuck in dreamscape I have to go through a series of encounters while being "stuck" and choose which way to handle it based on the options they give me. Once I'm let out of dreamscape I usually end up gaining something in my inventory such as pink diamonds, gold, etc. Recently the item that I received is a "Mysterious Gnome" I placed him outside my house and I find him in random spots on my lot throughout the day. My question is does anyone know if the gnome does anything else except wander around the lot?

Mysterious Mr. Gnome moves around your property (if you have other gnomes they tend to flock and move together).  Some of the places you find them are very amusing.  Eventually he will age and die - leaving you with a little gnome headstone somewhere on your property.  If you have more than one Mysterious Mr. Gnome they will spawn baby gnomes who also will age up from toddler to teen to adult to elder and eventually die.  I don't know of anything else they do.  If you don't want to have gnomes running around your property then you can always sell your gnome for about $1000.
