Family Tree Sims 3 PS3?

Hi,
I have sims 3 pets for the ps3... I love it but there are a few things I am wondering

How do you see a family tree? When I press the square it lists sims with relations etc. but does not show a family tree at all.

Or is there not one for the PS3?

Also when you kick out people when moving, do you ever see them again in another house in the town, as uncontrollable townies, or are they never to be seen again?

I know there is a way to see the family tree I just can't remember how lol it has something to do with that menu

I think when you press Square it's in the section that shows your traits, press x on it and you can view your family tree.
As far as im aware you can't see family tree's for sims that aren't in your household.
