Are babies always born in the evening?
« on: October 19, 2012, 09:29:08 AM »
Hi! I've googled and searched the forum but didn't find anything about this: are babies always born during the evening/late in the day?

Only if that's when you tried for baby.    A baby is born roughly 72 hours after the chimes are heard, so if you only try for baby at night then you'll only ever have babies at night.

No, babies are born pretty much exactly three days after the baby is 'made' -  give or take a couple of minutes. I tend to 'try for baby' in the midday or early afternoon so the mother can sleep well, eat and shower etc before the baby comes. Also, it's really annoying if the baby's born at night because all the rest of the family ( husband, children etc.) wake up screaming and get no sleep which really messes up work and school the next day etc.

Thanks! I've played for years, but have only ever gotten babies in the evening - untill today - when the couple tried for a baby in the morning, a baby was born approx 72 hours later! Can't believe I've missed this!
