I Got the Pet Shop Without the Limited Edition

So here it is.  I didn't get the limited edition of the game, but I got the Pet shop.  I also think I might have gotten the breeds, but not sure on that.  So if you didn't get the limited edition version of the game, go check you purchases page at thesims3.com and see if you got the pet shop.  I swear I didn't get it.  I just got the normal one, but I did want to get it.

So, did I get this right... you bought Pets expansion but not the limited edition - You wanted the limited edition but got the normal one instead, but still got the petshop?

I too got the Pets EP for christmas, and it wasn't the limited edition, just the regular one (there wasn't any extra code or anything inside, either). I got to download a petshop too.

I assumed the limited edition came with "nicer" petshop, and the regular ep with a simple one? Were only limited edition buyers supposed to get *any* petshop?

I tried doing google image search to find out if there are different types, but found only one...

There was a problem with the codes at first. They got mixed up in packaging. So that for awhile when you register your game on the site, you got the shop anyway.

I wanted to get the limited edition, but my local wal-mart only had the normal edition.  I could have gone to the gamestop across the street to get the limited edition, but I didn't have the cash to get the limited edition.  I'm just happy I got the pet shop.  Hehe.

I didn't get the Limited Edition, but I just found the Pet Shop in my purchase history, downloaded it and put it in my current Sunset Valley game. It seems to work perfectly. I do feel a bit bad for the people that spent extra money getting the Limited Edition version, when everybody ends up getting the same content.

I didn't get the extra breeds, though.  So they still got that.

I just put the registration code for Pets into my thesims3.com account, and the pet shop showed up in my purchase history. I bought pets several weeks after it came out, and it is not the limited edition.

Are y'all sure the Limited Edition was more expensive than the regular edition?  I got the Limited Edition when I pre-ordered it through Origin, and I'm pretty sure it didn't cost extra.
