Lost Pet Help

So my dog just wandered away ... Help . I have already called to report it and I have searched many places to find him but still can't.

Do you not control the pets on the Console version?  If you control the dog, why can't you just send him home?  Sorry, I don't play the Console version, but on the PC version, I don't think it's possible to lose a pet that's part of the household.

Yes, you can control them, but once they get lost you cannot actually select them to even see where they are.

Maybe that's just a function that comes with the console version of Pets.  I've never known it to happen on the PC version, so I'm afraid I can't be very much help.

I've had this and I've found 2 easy ways of finding them.

First method is to wait for a dialog to come up saying [insert pet name here] is still missing. You can call to report lost if you have not already. Click A on the xbox 360 the same button to promise a wish and it will turn the screen over to the,

Or if you can't wait check info about your sim and scroll over to the pet and see their moodlets and check for
1. Fit atmosphere - find at the gym
2. Creepy graveyard for the graveyard
3. Beautiful park search at a park
