"James Vaughan was a great man.But he had a..."
« on: March 27, 2010, 06:32:00 PM »
"...notoriously poor memory.  He must have kept his security codes written down somewhere nearby."

This notice keeps popping up every couple of minutes in my game.  It's becoming very annoying, especially since I'm NOT doing the James Vaughan Adventure.  I am doing the Tomb Disasters Adventure!  I do have an active quest in France, but it has to do with Isabel, Nectaux' daughter, or something, but I'm in Egypt.  Any ideas as to why this notice keeps coming up?

Thanks.  Phyrie

PS, I didn't use the "ADVENTURE:" preface, as I'm not actually ON this quest.  I hope that was correct...

Perhaps you explored James Vaughan's HQ before. Because for all I know, that notice appears after some time being stuck with the tomb with the security doors.

I had a similar problem of it constantly harassing me. If you want to get rid of it head to the Egypt Guide for the locations of the furnishings in the house you need to interact with. I'd suspect it would finish these annoying notices.

Thanks, Carl and aws_137.  I'll go over to the house and see what I can see, if I can ever convince a mummy to curse me!  I've fought with dozens, so far, and no luck.  I may have to give up the Tomb Disasters quest.
