red exclamation mark

So I go to my town map with my male sim and the there is a red exclamation mark over the dog park  so i click it and it says nothing new so I switch to my pet and same thing ... what does this mark mean ... usually when there is something that needs to be done its a blue circle with a star in the middle or a purple blub ( for the hauntings) but this one I can't figure out HELP!!!!!! :o

It could mean that you are suppose to be doing something and then after that report there. If its not that then I don't know sorry.

It means that an event is going on in that place...not one you have to go to, though. It will most probably be something like 'amateur olympics' or 'cooking competition'...but you can win money if you win so you might as well go. They also make your sim happy if they win. To foresee these events next time, read the 'events' in the newspaper and it will tell you the location and time!
