Whenever I try to put down a lot that I downloaded off of the exchange thats larger than about 5 mb, it doesnt work.

i would click the lot, then click the place to put it. then the game would go into "processing" and never leave. I once left it on and ate dinner. it was still processing.

so then I tried lowering graphics and other settings to bare minimum. still didnt work.

does anyone else have this problem? and any advice?

note: i like to see what other ppl have downloaded so I have TON of houses in the library. would that hurt?

The games specs say you need the amount of GB for the game and an extra GB for custom content, I would delete all the houses if you can't place them, whats the point in clogging your game up?

I've had this happen more than once.  Those large houses just have too much stuff in them!  It's hard for the game to process the lots that really are just overloaded.  The houses are pretty, but they aren't very functional for actually playing the game.  The best I can suggest is that you clean up your computer and game files, defrag and all that, restart your computer and game, then just try again.  However, even if you manage to get these lots loaded, they probably won't play well for the same reasons they didn't load well.
