Ah, I was refering to the trait. In Sims 1 you could also extinguish people with the hydrant, however the Extinguish ability was like a 'trait' in that only magical sims got it. And I can't quite remember but I'm pretty sure the Extinguish ability allowed you to extinguish yourself if you caught on fire.
