I wanted to start a new game in Bridgeport. I deleted the Resort near the lake and put in the large horse Ranch. When I clicked on it to buy it for my sim's private ranch, there was no opportunity to buy it. I checked in real estate and it didn't show up.
If, I can't buy it, can I at least store my horses there?

Yes, you're horse can live.  I'm actually having my horse live there some of the time in Appaloosa Plains, cause they don't have a huge yard for him.

So, when you buy the property you can just leave your horses there and they stay?

I think you don't even have to buy it - it's an open, public lot, and your horse can probably have a happy life there without ever seeing you again.

Well, then there's no point in having a horse then if you're just going to leave it there! Haha
Although it's nice to know there is at least somewhere for the horse to stay if my sims ever run out of room.

My horse stays at the training center so I can focus on the other pets a bit more.  He hasn't been there long, but it's a long way from his house so he has to gallop a good bit just to get home.

I finally was able to buy the grounds and had to upgrade it (toliets, etc.). My simhas room for one horse stall on her lot; but, I want her to eventually have more horses. So, since they can live there, she'll be able to put up her horses. Great!
