Missing Texture Bug?...
« on: January 23, 2012, 02:42:38 AM »
I reloaded the game after lowering some graphical settings (due to lag). All went well until certain objects lost some or all of their textures (i.e. turned flat yellow). It continually happened until I reset the graphic settings, everything was fine after that. I want to know if anyone else encountered that glitch, and what exactly caused it. No CC, Mods or store content installed at the time. Ran Windows XP, high-end graphics card and CPU, 4GB memory.

“You ought to upgrade to Windows 7!”, they said. “It’ll help your games run so much better!”, they said. If I see them again, then they had better know how to stabilize an on-the-fritz copy of The Sims 3 that was working just fine on Windows XP.

yeah, not long ago, i has this problem, too. I'm using ATI Radeon HD 6850 graphic card, and I has this problem when trying to change some setting until I make a change of a "setting file" (I'm not remember this file name for sure, but it allow you to change graphic setting, and its location is some where in the installed TS3 folder)
