Frustrated with the Paparazzi and Being Celebrities - Somethings that might help

I had my 5-star marry a paparazzi and then he got a taste of his own medecine! The others followed him and left my sim alone!

Sounds like a nice idea! I'm gonna try it when I'm having celeb sims.

With the expansion of pets, I now send my dog (PUFFA WUFF) out to sniff them, then proceed with the Pee on them.. It works everytime. Who likes being Peed on??

Like everyone's said, the  key is simply to befriending celebrities  and not doing any opportunities  that give you sim  points!

You'll never get a star, and hence no paparazzi!

If you have mastered the charisma skill, you'll gain stars just by walking past a celecrity. My sim got her stars by playing the guitar and when a celebrity gave her tips due to her charisma level she was instantly their friend.

I play with opportunities turned off, my towns don't include the movie lot and I rarely play the music career.  I've found that my Sims achieve celeb status simply by having a lot of friends. The one thing that really annoys me is the "Impress so and so" wish.

I bought the cow plant because I thought it might take care of the paparazzi problem ( and lazy maids), but no luck. The NPCs just ignore it. Now what I do is when a paparazzi shows up I just add the them to my family until my cow plant wants a meal.  The cow plant gets a meal, my Sim gets to milk the plant and I get my tiny revenge until the game creates a new NPC for the job.  That's not a big deal though, cow plants always want a next meal.

Yeah it's really easy. I once tried to get my sim to be a five star celeb, because I wanted to try it. It was so easy that I didn't bother with it afterwards. Now I have a sim that is a four star celeb. I did nothing to have her get stars and she is in a medical career and she has four stars. I'm still wondering how it happened...

I just try to ignore the paparazi. I once had a glitch that had visitors stay on my lot and never leave. I got them to go by resetting the visitors, so now when paparazi is really annoying I just reset them and gone they are for a while

I decided in a new game to make the celebs mad. My sim was close to maxing the number of people she knew in charisma skill. So, rather than ask for autographs, she just greeted them as if they where a normal person. The looks on thier faces were funny. Then (since she has level 10 in mogic, guitar and piano) she only had to mention one or two skills to impress them. Funny how foolish sims are!

Getting to the point: Celebrities aren't that bad. The only actual bad things are paparazzis (blocked by electric gates, and not even noticed when you're outside sometimes) and the Publicly Embarassed negative moodlet (which you may even get more simoleans from in case you win the law suit thing).

This is my first post and i just want to know how would you win the law suit thing? Sorry because ill just be getting my late night installer tomorrow and im planning to be a celebrity, so i do not know this stuffs.

Winning lawsuits is hit or miss. If you don't succeed the first time, immediately turn around and try again. Once I had to sue 3 times to win.
Personally I prefer to pay of the paparrazi at the business office. Depending on your income and what the disgrace was it can cost you §1,000 to §5,000. But, it never has failed me. Trying to push the scandal onto someone else often fails.
