Problem with Generations

I am seriously annoyed. I bought Generations and after I downloaded it, I went to the launcher and pressed the play button. But it just froze up instead of working.  How do I get it to work?

Sims 3 worked before i downloaded generations but now it doesn't!!

I'm going to edit your post for grammar and punctuation.  I'm also going to move it to the Technical Help board because it sounds like you've having issues with game mechanics.  You should change the Subject of this thread because "Help" is very vague and doesn't give any indication of the content of the thread.  The Subject needs to be as specific as possible.  Just click on Modify in the first post and then you can change the Subject line.  I'm sure you'll get some good answers.

Are you sure you didnt do anything but the install progress?

You said "it froze up", what is it in this case? The "Launcher Menu" or "The Game" its-self? If the laucher had stopped working, then try to run the game without launcher and see what happend?

If both of them has stopped working, try to complete reinstall the game. Good luck .

The launcher froze and I have already uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but thanks anyway.

What exactly does it do when it freezes and how are you exiting it?

that is exactly what is does, it freezes, like if you have lag and i have tried waiting but nothing happens and i can't exit it because its frozen so usually i just restart the computer
