How long do I have to talk to plants for some results? 

I have tried gardening and I am little disappointed. If I want to make good money, I must have a lot of plants. I guess I must have forest for this.

For 3-4 bottes of nectar, I must have 10 fruits. But my apple tree produce 3-4! So I must have 4 trees for 3-4 bottes of nectar. I don't know why apple tree have 3-4 crops. Real apple tree have much more than 3-4. And it is basic plant, not the best plant. The best plants have even less crops.

Money tree produce is worth a lot more.

Gardening can be quite productive.
 Have you read the gardening guide here?
Talking to plants does have a positive impact, but I'm not sure if it makes it grow faster or improves the quality. As for how many fruit is produced in a crop, that's just the way it is. It would be impractical to have it produce too many.
