Stuck in Action Queue

Has anyone else experienced an action stuck in the queue? Everyone in my family got the action to celebrate the child's imaginary friend's birthday from child to teenager, and it got stuck there as the second action. It wouldn't go away. Even where there is no action in first it remained, and couldn't be cancelled.

Restarting the game and clearing caches got rid of the problem, but I just thought I'd mention it since it was unusual.

Hmmm. I wonder if resetting each of the family members might have worked.

Nope. Reset didn't work.

Yeah I had that too! One of my sims had the grilling action stuck in their queue and even if I left the game and loaded it later it would still eventually come back. But I started a new family and it hasn't happened yet. I should go back and check on that sim to see if it happens again.

This happened to me under pretty much the same circumstances - an imaginary friend's birthday party action got stuck, except it was just the icon stuck in the queue, because they weren't partying at all. It didn't seem to affect anything and it was gone the next time I reloaded the game.
