*Quick Edit - I managed to figure out a way to minimize the size of images that do not use Carl's Gallery. Some of them might be a bit skewed since I just used the thumbnail dimensions from Carl's site. So if you see your image skewed and want it fixed, just send me the thumbnail link of your site or the correct dimensions. Thanks

Hey guys. I thought it was a bummer that the forums couldn’t do a mini image next to each thread so we could see a quick glance of what each creation looked like. So I thought a thread like this might be a good idea. I created a list of the creations on this forum starting with the newest and then took images from each thread (usually of the front of the lot) and found their image address. After that it was just a matter of throwing in the thumb_ lol. The list is in a table format with the download link in the title.


I only did the first sheet of the forums, so let me know if this is a rubbish idea or not, and maybe we can either ditch it or make it a habit Thanks, cheers!

I did a table if you want one. It's a great idea this and if you were up to it then organizing it into categories such as: Modern, Farm, Starter etc. or something like that then it could be a great help. If you need help with the code just ask me.

Hm ok one quick question, what determines the size of the columns overall. Is it the spacing of the first row or are they all going to be different based on the words in each one. Thanks

The spacing of the largest cell will determine that columns width. If you want a really large space, you can add lots of spaces to the first cell in a column. An example:

Ok thanks I think I understand now. I can start with tabling the list so far. Oh and I thought about the category idea but I wonder if it would be good for those who regularly check the forums. It seems like it would make it difficult to find new builds in the list. Any workarounds or thoughts. Thanks

Edit - Another quick question, what controls the room between rows. I see that some of the rows have less room than others, but I didn't do anything different for those rows.

Other than that, to answer an earlier question, yeah I can do the entire forum here, I am just waiting for thoughts on the current layout and an okay from an admin before I start. As you can imagine, reentering all the information in a new format is tedious and mindless work hah, I would rather avoid it.


Another Edit - So I went ahead and threw some other creations on there (I was almost ready to find one of those water balanced bird things to hit the keys for me every now and then hah) and another question... For some reason the images with an underscore in the title do not show as thumbnails, any ideas why. Thanks

^Yet another Edit - You can ignore the above edit, I fixed the issue by setting dimensions on the full-sized images.

I'm glad you worked your way through the problem with the people who've been using other sites for their images.

This is great!  The only thing I can think that would make it even better is if you could include the lot size on the table.  Most of the time, I'm looking for a certain size lot to fill a space.  Maybe that is just me.  Either way, this is very helpful, Thanks!
