Built in 2012, your Sim is guaranteed a fantastic stay in this small cottage, fit with a pool, top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, and a beautiful view. It features a revolutionary burglar repellent*, and stunning views of the beach.

*Burglar System:
When the TV in the Living Room is OFF, the traps are armed. If it is on, they are disabled. The system (invented by Hosfac) will stop a burglar enough for you to call the Police.
If it does not work, when the burglar leaves, in Buy Mode, you can Ctrl+Click on a trap, choose Set Trap Type > Darts (on both). This should work.
Remember, the TV MUST be off for it to work.

Builder's Note: When I tested this system, I made a few changes to the trap system, and stupidly named the second export "Beachside Beauty" - the same as the first. As such, there are two downloads. The one with the working Trap System has the Traps visible (It is probably "Beachside Beauty {1}", I'm not 100% sure). Both files are attached.

Oh wow! I just LOVE the idea of using traps to get burglars!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Ingenious!!! Do we have a linky to a walk through on how to do that? I haven't done much tomb-y stuff. I hid some stairs once, a long time ago, that's it.

This is the thread where Hosfac shared the burglar prevention method (and did some trials with it - for instance, the one in this house is a non-lethal one, but should deter the burglar long enough for you to call the police) - it's on Page 2.
