Tent Stuck

So I got a tent for my sim, and have been using it as her bed on public lots. I just tried placing it for her, found an area where it turned green to place it and so I did. Then when I sent her to sleep in it, she couldn't get to it, since I'd placed it on a platform outside the art museum that she can't get onto. Now she can't get to the tent to pick it up. I can't use buy mode to move it, since it's on a public lot. I tried turning moveobjects on, but then realized that it only helps for buy mode, so no good here. Does anyone have any idea of a cheat, etc that would let me get it back?

Live mode you can just drag it into sims inventory.

Otherwise:
Ctrl+shift+C
"testingcheatsenabled true" enter
Shift click ground
Select "build/buy on this lot" there you go.

Oh good, I'll try the buy on this lot cheat. I can't drag it into inventory. If I just dropped it on the ground I could, but if it's been "placed" it has to be taken down by the sim. Doesn't make much sense to me though, since I can put it up without her being there.

With testingcheats you can teleport her on that platform in live mode so she can pick it up, that may be even faster solution.
And Moveobjects cheat works in live mode - it allows you to place items from inventory everywhere, it is specially usefull in tombs when celling is too low for tents
