Patterns and Patches

Do new patterns come with patches or just EPs and SPs? There is no indicators for where they come from so I am assuming from patches. However, as I plan to make a few uploads to the swap shop as soon as I get more data usage on my dongle, I`d very much like to be sure.

Which patterns have you seen? If there are patterns of Dinosaurs, Castles and stuff in Themed/Geometric - Can't remember which. Then those are from Generations. I don't think there have been many Patterns added with EPs or SPs apart from the Wicker with Ambitions.

The patch that came with Generations added the dinosaurs and castles plus some others in the themed section.
