Tiberium in family inventory downgrading

So, I have been saving my tiberium to transfigure into an expensive nectar bottle, and I checked back on it. It is now worth only 515 Simoleons. It was a large spire worth approximately 41k when I put it in inventory.

Any explanations?

I've heard of this happening, although it's never happened to me.  From what I can tell, Tiberium just sometimes goes back down in value.  It's an alien substance, after all.

Tiberium is probably left to turn into the large spire then sell it, 40000 once a week isn't too bad.
