Putting Pets Up for Adoption
« on: November 06, 2011, 11:32:55 PM »
Has anyone experimented with putting pets up for adoption?  I did it one time and my pet ended up at the shelter.  I saw him when I looked in the paper for pets available for adoption at the shelter.  For some reason, this really upset me.  I would much rather give a pet to a townie for adoption instead of the shelter.  We can adopt pets from townies in the newspapers, but I can't figure out if we can do the same thing ourselves.  I'm trying to do the Cat Herder Lifetime Wish and thinking maybe I need to give up some of my pets to make room for new pets to befriend.

I've only been able to put them up for adoption to the shelter.

But to ease your mind, you could spend a day swapping to other households and have them adopt pets from the shelter.  That way you'll also be sure they've bought the appropriate accessories to have happy pets. :)

That's a great idea!  I think I can live with that.  Thanks very much.  :)
