How do you save your remodeled towns?

I've been re-doing Riverview for weeks now, to add more lots, Late Night places, etc, but I don't know how to save it so that I can always use this version of Riverview even when I want to start a new game.
How do I save my new town? I have put so much work into it, I don't want to do it again when I need to start a new game.

Go to the main menu and use' copy town'. That is the only way I know. You copy as many as you want and give every town a different name.

You can also select "Save As" from the Options menu in the open world file. As long as you keep the original version, you can make as many copies as you like.  :)
