Simpoint cards?

I saw these mentioned on a different thread. Are they like most giftcards, eg plastic and the size and shape of a credit card? Why I ask, hubby and I collect gift cards. We purchase cards from places we will shop, then after we have spent the balance on the card, we put the (now valueless) card in our collection. I have been into EB Games and Game (Australia) to see if there were cards for Sims but nobody in any of those stores have ever seen them. Are they usable anywhere, for example if I sent someone some money to buy one, would I be able to use it here in Australia?

Yeah that is what they are but I don't know if they are usable everywhere but I believe they have them at Walmart and possibly target and then you can check gamestop too? They are a little hard to find though! I haven't actually seen one in a store but I did find one online but it was hard to find I searched everything I could think of like EA gift card and all the stuff. Eventually I did find one but I can't remember where though. I would look for you but I am on my phone and don'e have access to the computer at the moment sorry! Maybe tomorrow if you still haven't found one!

Do we have walmart in australia?

Twinmum, I haven't heard of it here in Australia either. I suspect they just don't do it here...

I've been doing a bit of looking and the general consensus on the official forum is that they can't be purchased here in Australia or in New Zealand. I thought that might have been the case, because if they were available anywhere here it would be EB Games. Not to worry, I just thought it would be cool to have one. Maybe sometime down the track they might introduce them to Australia.

Do you have Amazon online there?  I know they sell them, although in UK they cost a lot more from Amazon than buying the points direct online from the Sim3 website.
