CAS auto-replacing parts?
« on: April 25, 2015, 11:53:39 AM »
I have this annoying issue where my game keeps changing the parts I add in CAS. When I create an outfit, then work on a different outfit and go back they'll be wearing entirely different accessories than what I added. If I exit CAS and go back in, the accessories will change as well. The same happens if I save my sims to the bin and load them. Sometimes shoes, tops and bottoms will change as well. Anyone got an idea why, and if there's anything to be done about it?

Amjosa,

I have had this happen in my game and yes, it's frustrating. I'm not entirely sure why it happens. I just think of it as one of the quirks of the game. But what I do to "fix" it is clear the game cache and/or do a factory reset. (links below for what cache files to delete and a factory reset howto)

You may also want to check that the mods/custom content you use is not outdated/bad. Mods/custom content can mess up your game. It maybe a good idea to check those if you haven't already. The custom content and mods links below are for in case you want more information on them.

Check on the 3rd Party Custom Content

Hope this helps, :)
