Community Lots missing names and lot assignments?

Hi, new member, but a long-time reader of the guides.  I've run into an interesting problem, and no amount of Googling or searching has come up with an answer.

Several of my lots in Appaloosa Plains are missing their names.  They're just called "Community Lot", in both Edit Town view and in-game.  The three lots affected are (according to the wiki) Dog's Day Town Plaza, Novigan Community Cat Jungle and Equestrian Regional Training Grounds.

Also, when editing lots, there are no entries for assigning a lot as a Dog Park, Cat Jungle or whatever the horse equivalent is.  I'm also missing the "Pet Shop" assignment as well, which I supposedly should have gotten from the Limited Edition.

What do you all recommend I do?  I have all the expansion packs and stuff packs but Town Life, and I really want to avoid the hours and hours of a full reinstall if at all possible.

Are you having this same problem in more than one game file?  It might be that just the one file is corrupt.

Heh.  So embarrasing.  I actually figured out the problem since I posted this, would you believe.   Thinking about technical problems jogged an old memory, of installing [name of mod removed - Schipperke] to fix the "never-ending field trip" bug.  Turns out, having an old edition of that installed caused the lot assignments to be messed up.

My apologies.  I completely forgot that was there.  On the plus side, if anyone else is having this problem, deleting old mods appears to be the solution.  Thanks for the really fast response, and thanks for keeping the awesome guides up.  My sister and I both love them, and I've recommended your site to a number of new players I've met.
