Missing Plumbob
« on: October 29, 2011, 11:17:49 PM »
At the moment the plumbob to indicate my active sim is missing. I have looked around to fix this and all I found out was that the hide headline effects cheat is not the culprit. I can sill see thought bubbles and the skill markers the only thing missing is the plumbob itself.

This happened after I had the issue where the child never goes to boarding school. I deleted the sim with MOO and that problem was fixed the thing is I didn't notice the plumbob until after I saved. Is this a bug or just something I can fix?

I hope its not a fatal bug as this is my 4th try at a Dynasty...

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Abe

If you reset all sims (resetsim *), does that bring it back?

In addition to what Seabody suggested...

I've probably already asked this, but are you running any mods in the game?  Also, does it do the same thing in a different file?  If if only happens in this one file, then the file is likely corrupt and can't be fixed.  But if it happens in all files, then it's a global problem and we'll have to take it a step at a time to see if there's a solution.

@seabody I have tried resetting a couple of my sims but that doesn't seem to work.

@Pam Yes I have a couple mods but I never ran them with this file (Dynasty after all)
I do have a few CC things in CAS but I cant imagine that would affect this.

And no it's not a global issue. The problem is restricted to that individual save file.

EDIT: Thanks Seabody I did not know that you could reset all sims at once with *. That did the trick!
