« on: February 25, 2011, 01:14:53 AM »
Rosewood Row, by Ausette

Lot Type: Residential Apartment, 1 br 1.5 ba
Lot Size: 35 x 25
Cost when placed on 35 x 25 lot: $16,032 ($15,528 unfurnished)
Contains Ambitions and Late Night content
Store Content: EA-made pattern (on the living-room rug, should transfer)

This quaint, compact apartment block is just as attractive on the inside as it is from the front. Despite the stone exterior, the warm colours and textures indoors turn it into a cosy home for a single Sim or a couple. The unit contains a fully furnished and decorated living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, bedroom, study and private balcony, and is affordable enough to move into straight away.

Wow!!!  What a lovely looking building!!!

On the third picture, is the area to the very left a hallway?

Thanks Jonna, I've been waiting a while to share this one ;D. I love non-high-rise apartment buildings in The Sims 3. The little room is indeed a hallway to the study and bedroom, it's just got a light and a leopard-skin rug in it.

I'm sorry, I meant the room that the apartment isn't connected to, with the light brown wood flooring.  Is it a hallway leading to an NPC apartment, or maybe it's just empty space?  I guess what I'm going for, is if someone wanted to expand the apartment, is this area available for some rbbb cheating?   ;)

Oh, right, sorry  :-\. Yeah, it's empty (hidden) space. The apartment itself only takes up a quarter of the top floor so you'd definitely be able to extend it if you wanted, I just made it this size so it could be used as a starter home. The building's main hallway is the bit at the very bottom of the picture, you can see some rubbish bins and a Sim in it.  :)

And what a wonderful starter home it is!  Certainly much nicer than any apartment I've lived in, that's for sure!  I like that the doors aren't visible from the street.

I love it so much Ausette! The colours, the patterns, the lighting! Wow! And I love the exterior. I will definitely download this when I quite out of play mode. :)

Thanks for the lovely comments, all of you. I was really happy with the finished apartment so I'm glad you guys are too :D. I'll have to build more apartments sometime, they make excellent starter homes because they're so cheap and the extra cash goes a long way.

Wauw Ausette, this is simply awesome! It looks so realistic. And those room facilities... you made with a few furniture a very interesting looking result.
Well done girl. :)

I Love the rugs!  That's always one of my favorite items when it comes to decorating. I've always wanted to use the black and white tile in a kitchen but never got the color of the cabinets right. Now I've got some ideas.

Downloaded. And would you mind if I used it in the Ella story? See, asking this time!

This is perfect for my town! I hope I won't have any problems with incompatible game/patch versions.
