Pets in a Household

Hola, I'm NerdySwagg5399 and I have a question for you 8)

I was wondering if pets such as cats,dogs, or horses count towards the 8-person household limit? Sorry if this confuses anybody.

Not exactly.  You can have eight sims and still adopt pets, however, there cannot be more than 10 pets and sims combined.  Also, there can be no more than six pets, so if you have one sim and six dogs, there won't be space for another even though you haven't hit the magic eight.
