Picture Isn't Selectable to Upload to Gallery

This is kind of a big problem for me. I'm not sure what's going on. When I go into the gallery to upload a picture, I go to my sims folder and when I go to select the pictures I want to upload, they're not there. However, I can clearly see the pictures in my sims folder when I open it from my desktop. When I upload, only the pictures I have already uploaded are there.

This is really bizarre. Does anyone know how to help me? I already cleared my caches, and that didn't do anything. I tried ctrl+F5 on the upload page and that didn't do anything either.

Have you tried it where you've completely logged out of the forum and gallery, shut down your browser and restarted the computer?   

No computer expert but they will probably mention this anyway.

Yeah, I've completely logged out of everything, but I'll give my computer a restart and see if it helps.

Edit: I just restarted. Still have the same problem.

Edit 2: I removed the pictures from my sims folder and placed them in a different folder. They uploaded fine. I guess I'll just try using this new folder when I upload the next time. I'm going to leave this thread open just in case something else happens, though.
