How do I get the counter to fit into the corner?
« on: October 08, 2011, 08:47:25 AM »
Sometimes I want the counters to continue on two walls and need to make them fit into the corner to be useable and not look odd.
Is there a trick on doing that? I usually just keeps trying until I succed but then I'm not sure how I did it.
I'm stuck with the kitchen I'm remodeling now and are stuck with counters I can't get to be placed where I want them.

Is it a 90 degree corner? To do that turn moveobjects off. (I'm not sure if that matters but it might)
First put down the counter on one side of space where a different counter will change into a corner. Then you put one on the other side. You put the corner piece in last. The most common problem is that the original counters are too far apart, so just change one of them a bit and try again.
This is only for 90 degree corners though.

If you're working with a 90 degree angle corner, just put counters side by side and when you put another on in the square on the other wall the one that's in the corner will automatically because a 90 degree counter like you see in the far corner of the below picture.  If it's not a 90 degree corner, you need to have moveObjects on and use the alt key to maybe get things exactly the way you like it.

Thanks for the help both of you! Now I got it to work. Yes it was 90 degree corner. For some reason I always think that corners always are 90 degrees and didn't think of mention that part.  :D
I hope that sentence make sense, it looks a bit odd to me, but I have no idea what to change.
