Ingredients and Chests - Will it spoil?
« on: March 02, 2010, 04:29:38 PM »
My Legacy Family founder Mikey has caught 3 Deathfish, they have two chests (WA) I am wondering whether the fish will go off or not in the chests, because this could help people who want Ambrosia in the future, but not have to have a fisherman. And also would it work with Lifefruit?

To answer your question, no they will not go bad in the chest. However, I think this is because ingredients like fish and fruit never go bad, even in your pocket.

I think what jmz95 says is correct.  Fish and fruits/vegetables don't go bad whether in your inventory, the refrigerator, or the chests.

But in the chest, this could stop anyone using them? Is it only leftovers which go bad?

I'm pretty sure nobody would use anything stored in a chest.  Sims don't even know it exists unless you direct one to open it.  Yes, it's leftovers that would go bad.
