Lol I just cancel this wish when I see it. It is, really hard to discover this - also, you'll have to learn the recipe if you haven't done so already.

LOL, I guess it's just me but when I have sim "Get To Know" and my sim has fav food in thought bubble, the other sim has also...then it's easy to spot.  Like someone said before, you just gotta pay attention.  :D  The only time I really pay attention is when he or she is talking to another sim who I have ultimate plans for.  I usually don't that close attention to everything sims say in conversation...mostly anyways.  :D

The Observant Lifetime Reward will help you learn several traits the first time you socialize with anyone.  I think it costs 5000 reward points.

If your Sim is in the Law Enforcement or Journalism career track, they get the option to " question" or "interview" sims which immediately discovers at least 3 traits about them. But you have to be on good standing with them to accept to be questioned/interviewed.

Charisma comes in handy with those interviews.  The quicker you can raise the relationship bar, the quicker you can interview and question.

On a related note does the wish "Cook X's favorite meal" drive anyone else crazy? Talk about something that's hard to discover if they're not under your control. I guess their favorite food might pop up sometimes in thought bubbles, but you'd really have to be observant.

I hate this one also, the part that gets me is even when I do see it pop up in thought bubbles, the picture there often looks nothing like the icon picture in the recipe list so I still can't figure out what it is.

Maybe we ought to have a screenshot picture of those images and put it in the guide? Could help with the annoyment with that wish.

That would be nice and until then I decided to put something together real quick as a reference. Nothing fancy but may some will find it helpful until something better come along :)

The first picture is from the recipe book and the second picture is what shows in the thought bubble.

Edit: Worked on the picture some and made it a little neater.

Glad you find it helpful. I had some time to kill so I edited it and made it a little neater.  :)
