Lucky Trait and the Martial Arts Tournament / Opportunities

I didn't notice luck doing much for me in martial arts. Disciplined has the most obvious effects on results though. That and being in the best mood possible.

Maybe you should make 2 sims: one with the lucky trait and one with the ehm... friendly trait (something non-important for this experiment). Let them both go to Shang Simla and train their martial arts skill to 5 (a nice average). Then let them both spar 20 matches (1 match has 2-3 rounds) and write their points (one point per round) and their wins/losses down. Then we can see if the lucky trait really helps with the Tournament.

I just thought I'd hijack my own thread since this has to do with the Lucky trait. Does anyone know if the trait has an impact on receiving more Opportunities than without the trait?

As far as i know, it doesn't make a difference.

Thanks, TG. Getting Opportunities in the upcoming Career Challenge is important, but it would definitely be a wasted trait if there was no connection.

I think the time, without mods, is set for 2-4 days per opportunity slot.
