Just came across this tip while looking at posts.  What a great tip.  Never saw this addressed in any other forum so never thought there was a way around this.  Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks for the tip, Rica. All these 2 years, i had been dragging objects one by one from sim to fridge and sim. It is really a waste of gameplay time.

Just to throw this out there.

If you don't have another sim to transfer some of the stack to, you can always use your refrigerator. The same box comes up and you can split them. I do this to keep my perfect stuff in the frig and sell all the rest of my imperfect gardening stuff.

The cool thing is that you do not have to be anywhere near your refrigerator to do this. I split stacks from all over the place, especially when fishing real far off.

Just a FYI

What a great tip Ricalynn!

I've always thought it was so time wasting to sort stuff out from their inventories etc.

Glad I read this post.

Wow, I feel terrible, I play MMOs as well and it never occurred to me to even try that. That's fantastic to know, just to bad I've spent over 2 years bored going one at a time!

Thank you, Ricalynn! This is going to be so useful, especially for my gardeners. I never even thought of trying this.

While my first post ended up being somewhere else, I decided to sign up as a member here to say thanks for this piece of information. It seems like such a small thing on the surface of it, but it's amazing how helpful it is to know this!
