If you are on Twitter, I would suggest following TheSims3 Twitter page. 
http://twitter.com/thesims3

They give away stuff from the official store to random players that follow them.  Yesterday they gave away shoes for instance!

You can also follow them on Facebook, as they gave away shoes to people from Facebook as well.

Oooooh, yes, although I have no idea how Twitter works, or how to follow different people, or if I can do it on something other than my phone, if that is possible.

I don't even do Twitter on my phone.  I just log in from my computer.
I'd follow CarlsSims :)

You can follow Twitter from a computer.  It's just a matter of signing up for an account and following us or just check in from time to time.  We're looking into using Twitter and Facebook to promote the Guide and the Forum.

I don't even know how to send a text message and just in general HATE the phone.  I usually leave my Twitter page up all day.  If y'all need help with doing a Twitter for CarlsSims, I'd gladly help.  I used to run a Twitter for a Canadian scrapbooking online store that had a crafts forum.

I'll get on our twitter and try to post more. I made it one night, and might give admins and mods access to it. I think it's a good way to promote our challenges etc.
