2 of 3 Sims can't register band at City Hall.

I moved a group of 3 Sims from Riverview to Bridgeport to start a band. A Sim from my original family in Riverview, his (used to be Townie) girlfriend, and their (used to be townie) friend. My "original" Sim registered at City Hall to have the band be his job. The other two have no such option. They can only register as "retired". The girlfriend has had a teen job- two actually. The friend had a job in the Science career when after he moved.

I'm wondering if the game thinks that these two, having had some kind of job (even though they've both quit) disallows the "band" option. Any clues? Thanks.

Sorry, never heard of that problem. What's their LTW? Maybe it's causing an issue.

Golden Hand/Fingers and Renaissance Sim. I used a mod to force the job and it's been working. And granted I can't be sure it's not one of my mods (wouldn't think so as all are from reliable sources and all up to date), you never know.

At this point it's just a nuisance and a curiosity. But, if I got it to work, so be it. If it happens again I'll go the whole removing CC direction. Thanks though.

I have CC; but not mods (game mods) and haven't had any issues. Most of my CC is clothing and hair that look far better than what they give you or sell in the store. I had in the past used mods and got rid of all of them.

Nope. They're all YA. I'm wondering if they're just glitched/bugged. One of them (after 1 sim went on vacation) became invisible. I replaced him with his clone from Riverview (the original one). And again the only option, among the usual (charisma, tour, etc.) was register as retired.  *shrugs shoulders* I've no idea.

Has your original Sim asked them to join the band since they moved to Bridgeport? (My apologies if this is a dumb question, but there's a lot that doesn't carry over when you move.)

That's a good point Marian. I haven't paid attention to that. I've been using [mod name removed-gerrr00] to move them, which supposedly keeps relationships and careers. I'll have to do a test to see...very good point. Thanks.
