There IS a way to work around it, you can either use a mod that fixes the buildings for photography use, or you can enter edit town and replace them with their sunset valley counterparts, while you're at it, you might want to create a beach of sorts (an empty comunity lot with an umbrella counts as beach), and change the lot type of one of the parks into a "big park": riverview doesn't have any so without doing that you can't get the "the park" picture either.
