If you save your sim you are playing when you are done with playing, then you should be able to play that sim/game again anytime you want by clicking on the saved game in the main menu.  Remember to name your saved game something unique like the characters name or something else specific  or you could end up playing multiple Sunset Valley's.

Happy Simming....

Well Tom, I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.  You have many options when playing the game.  You can save your Sim to the bin and play him/her in either town.  You can also create a new Sim whenever you want to play something different.  If you can give me some more specific information, I'll try to help more.

You can go to Edit Town and change the active household in the same game (I think).

Ok.  PJSim is correct.  You change households in Edit Town, off the main menu.  But, like I said, you will lose all the promised wishes of your first Sim, plus everything in the refrigerator.  That was a big deal to me because I was storing all my perfect fish and produce in the refrigerator for my 10th generation Legacy family and lost ALL of it when I changed households!  Also, your first Sim will continue with his/her life while you are playing the other Sim.  If you have story progression and aging turned on, your Sim will be different when you go back to him/her.  Not different traits, but experiences that you weren't there to see.  You might come back and find that he's gotten married!  Or something like that.

I hope this helps!
