Suggested Placement: n/a
Price Tag: $16,128 ($12,209 Unfurnished)

Cubesque is a minimalistic starters studio that strongly reminds of a 19th century working-class house. The epitome of space efficiency, Cubesque is a dream come true for every starter. The studio supports up to two people, but be advised that 80 square meters of living space may prove a relationship hazard.

N.B. Cubesque comes without a car, but with Mr. and Mrs. Longshanks: Professional Guard Flamingos

Additional information:
  • The beauty would almost hurt your eyes; everywhere on the lot you will receive a +40 Beautifully Decorated moodlet.
  • Comes with an easel and a burglar- and fire alarm.
  • Plumbing and Appliances are all upgraded. The stove comes with Improved Meal Quality, the TV comes with Boosted Channels, and the plumbing is Self-Cleaning.
  • Ample garden space is as of yet unused; a perfect spot to grow your own produce, build a pool, or perhaps install a new workbench.
  • Not a fan of red? Everything can easily be repainted in your own favourite colour!

When you place the house in your game you will have to use the MoveObjects On cheat once to put the mailbox back where it belongs. Same goes for the trash bin.

I hope you all enjoy!

This is a starter home? Man, that looks luxury! I really like what I see. And yes, it is indeed based on that 19th century house you where mentioning. Isn't it strange, as it also looks very modern still, almost futuristic.

Thanks everyone for the compliments!

This is a starter home? Man, that looks luxury!

The big secret to starter luxurity was going with a 10x10 lot size. The lot only costs $200 and I couldn't be tempted to make the house bigger than necessary. That saved on building, as well as on furnishing costs.

To all the downloaders:

One thing I noticed is that, when you place the house on the lot, you will need to use the MoveObjects On cheat to put the mailbox back where it belongs. Since it's so close to the edge of the lot it gets moved when you place it. The trash bin you'll also have to put back manually, but no cheat required for that, it goes behind the roses at the end of the car-port wall.

It's lovely, Phyre. I really like how you've taken that tiny little space and made the house look as big as possible, and putting it on stilts really makes it pop! The exterior's so modern and different; I especially like the back view and the side with the staircase. The only thing I'd change would be to use the cheapest wallpaper (the recoloured pool walls are only $3 and look exactly the same). Otherwise, it's an awesome little starter house and I can squeeze it in wherever I want!  ;D

Thanks for the compliment Ausette, I'm glad you like it!

The only thing I'd change would be to use the cheapest wallpaper (the recoloured pool walls are only $3 and look exactly the same). Otherwise, it's an awesome little starter house and I can squeeze it in wherever I want!  ;D

I must have totally overlooked that wallpaper! I thought I went for the cheapest wallpaper without tiling at $5, but if there's one for $3 I will definitely change that! Thanks for the tip!

Edit: I just changed the wallpaper, as well as remove two books from the bookshelve that weren't supposed to be in there. I am happy to inform you all that the house is now approximately $200 cheaper, I attached the new file to the first post.

Wonderful little house!  You took the 10x10 idea and made a perfect spot for young professionals who are just starting out.  (I went the opposite route and made my10x10 8 levels of extreme luxury.  Not a cheap house at all!)
I personally love the color choice!  Red and white ftw!  I am definitely downloading this one and I have JUST the perfect spot(s) for it.

I was just informed that the previous Cubesque file contained a trespassing CC pattern.

Apparently even without a roof, the game exports the selected roof pattern. I had no pattern selected at all, so my game just picked the one CC roof pattern I have. Go figure.

I am really sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused anyone. I attached a new file to the first post, which should be free of any uninvited hitchhikers!

How cute for just two lovers or even one, but its always best to share it with someone we love. I really liked this cute little home, so modern too.  Such a great job.
