No snow here in the great PNW (Pacific Northwest). We had a light dusting of snow back in December that lasted for about a day and then melted. There are some years when we get no snow at all. But last year we got what we consider to be a BIG snowfall here on the valley floor that was about 18 inches. That almost never happens.
The part I always find ridiculous is when the news reporters go out to show how dramatic the weather is when it's usually just a bit of ice or maybe a couple inches of snow, and they act as if they've never seen it before... Hello People!!! It's called WINTER! Get over it! lol
Here's an actually pretty dramatic video taken a few years ago in Portland. It was pretty terrible road conditions with snow on top of ice, and the roads here don't get much in the way of treatment.
