Lol, could have been Sprite for me, but, nah, I'd rather stay in my comfy seat. :P

Wish I had a comfy seat -.-""

Anyway, I ALWAYS play on window mode (I chat minimal 3-4 people while playing + on the web too!) But I have a pretty neat computer... I've dedicated more than half a TB to Ready-boost (my dad's old hard drive + a 16 GB usb) + I have an overclocked processor and such (I put the computer together myself, so there are no factory errors!)... Sometimes it needs a little bit to render everything, but not long for me!

I have really bad habits in sims. The only time I save is when I exit the game. Then again, I only play an hour a day.

Every since I discovered the cheat to turn full screen off, that's the way I've always played. This is probably really bad, but I also never save because it takes way to long when I play for hours on end so after I'm done playing I just close my laptop.

Actually you can turn full screen on/off without cheating in the options panel, Screen Options (or something like that). You can also adjust other settings there, too. :)

I tried that once, except my laptop decided to behave and I was forced to shut down the whole thing and restart. Believe me, it wasn't a pleasant occurrence. I lost gameplay of about 8 hours. :o

I hate when that happens. One time, after I got Outdoor Living stuff I build this gorgeous house and even made a family to play with it. Sadly, my laptop crashed and I lost all of my work. I sulked for a little bit and then I just went right back to playing sims.  ;D

Same here. Replayed the whole thing. ;D

But I've learned my lesson nevertheless, now I always save and quit before closing the laptop. That way it's at least saved, lol.

alt + enter... just wait until you're in the game, not on the loading screen ;)

I always play with full screen, in fact I wasn't even aware you could play with a little screen? It would probably lag my game horribly, anyway. My game lags horribly enough as it is, especially when I have a browser or something opened up in the background. When I was trying to build my own version of a house I saw on the Swap Shop but couldn't download here I had to use the windows button on the keyboard to switch between full screen sims and my google chrome browser window where I was viewing the house and it was honestly the worst lag I have ever experienced, I don't know how I managed to finish that house! :P Also, when I click my windows button while playing sims to get to the desktop it takes an odd three or four whole minutes of black screen-ness to actually get to the desk top! Oh, my poor laptop. ::)

I mostly play in full screen mode but will sometimes play in windowed mode depending on what I'm doing.
Like I'll play in windowed if I trying to skill a sim up in painting I'll buy them a few easels and click on each one tell them to paint and for the last slot I'll tell tell them to play the guitar. Then I'll window out and surf the boards or something and when I hear the guitar start playing I know they're finished and to go back in, sell the paintings and start over.
A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.
