Question About Band Gigs & Bands

Were they jamming together when you tried asking the 4th to join? Since the 4th wasn't already in the band, when the 4th registered at City Hall, the game assumes the 4th has his/her own band.

....don't think that was the issue as even after I had her quit her "job", no one was still able to ask her to join. She, however, was able to ask them. So, I had the other 3 leave that band for hers...kept the name: Riverview Rhythm Prawns.

At least it worked out...was able to keep the gigs the old band did. Hopefully, the progression with the gigs won't revert back to the first.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to chalk it up to "bugs/errors" and move on as it's all where I'd like it to be

My issue has been with my dynasty.  Since I am  on the 8 generation, they know most people in town. They very rarely get called for gigs and when they do and it is time for the gig, there is no interaction at the bar.  A few hours later, they get a message that is was too bad they didn't show up and play.  I know that it is a glitch in the game, but that is the only game it happens in, but  from experience from other games, friends doesn't seem to play into how many gigs they get or how much they make in tips.  I think most things that happen in this game are just plain random.

I'm finding that out as well...friended the whole populace, oodles of tips and no gig for almost a week. C'este la Sims.
