Graphics help.
« on: August 07, 2011, 12:21:51 AM »
I recently got a new computer and when I started to play sims I noticed that the graphics were really different. Can someone please tell me where all there graphic sliders are in your game, I'd really appreciate it, because it's just not the same playing sims the way it is right now.

Press the "..." button on the bottom right of your game screen. Select Options. It should be the first panel that comes up. If not, select a tab at the top of the screen that appears.

It depends. Just fiddle with them and put them at the highest setting you can without your game lagging (too much)

I am fiddling right now but I was just wondering, because whenever I see screenshots on this forum the graphics look exactly like they used to on my old computer. So, I just wanted to see if someone tells me where they have there sliders I could move mine where theirs are and maybe my graphics would be fixed.

I think I just have mine on medium. You could put them higher if your computer is good enough.

I think it depends on your Graphics Card. I'll check my settings soon. (But they're quite high, no lag)

I just got it today so it better be good enough ;) most things are on high but I don't want my computer to explode so I guess I'll just try different combinations of somethings on low-medium some on high.
