Baby Basket

Does anyone know if the baby basket is 'buy-able' ? One of my sims once brought her baby home in it - I think she had triplets - but it disappeared once she picked her up.
I have seen it on the exchange, but didn't download it in case it was CC...

I think it's one of those things that appear when you need them and disappear after you are done...kinda like the new guitar...speaker appears when you play it.  It's obvious you need an extra pair of hands when you bring triplets home from the hospital.

I think that the ones on the exchange are just recolours of it. So you can have different styles, I don't know but its deffinetly not CC as EA wouldn't have it on object uploads the only place where CC would be is on sims or lots.

I wish that the baby basket was buyable in the base game because I think it looks really nice, and although you can customise the cribs and the other baby/child furniture, there really isn't much choice, and right this minute there's no point in me downloading anything from the shop or exchange because I can't actually put it into the game -_-
So would the recoloured ones on the exchange be objects you can buy via buy mode? (sorry if that's a stupid question)

I'm fairly certain the basket is not buyable.  And if you were to find it on the exchange, I would advise extreme caution because it's likely to be some form of custom content.

Pam - I thought EA were not letting CC not made by them on their website unless it comes on a sim or lot? So Im wondering if it just changes the colou rof the basket which the multiple babies come in?

I don't know for sure, samoht04.  But if the basket isn't available for purchase in the store, I'd be concerned about its source.  If someone just recolored it, how did they get it in the first place?

I see your point on that and they probably used a mod to do it or maybe there is something they can change in the actual game file... Now thinking about it I would wait and find out how it was done or what with before I downloaded it.

There's probably a pretty good chance that EA will make the basket available to us at some point in the future.  You never know.
