Lock the Door

I have never tried locking the interior door, but once.  I thought it would keep the maid out, but it didn't, just like locking the front door does not keep out burglars and I believe maids can still get it too.  Will have to try it, but I gave up on butlers anyway, lol.

I am almost really really sure that once you lock the door no staff will get in the room. My butler AND maid both don't pass the door, as they should be. So of it is a bug in my game (for once a 'good' bug) or it works for you too.

Another way to keep Sims out of a sarcophagus is to put a rope fence around it.  It looks good, too.

Or lock the door for everyone if you are aging nectar and don't want it to be messed with for a couple generations.

If you don't want anyone to go in there for a couple of generations, sell the door so you don't have to worry about anyone disturbing the nectar.

Sims won't pick nectar automatically as far as I know. They will do drink from the glasses automatically (or throw them away if they are maids ) however.
