Since I'm not familiar with Google and the +1 stuff, I am just clicking my usual Facebook "like" each time I spot the blue button. :)

That could get noisy for your friends! It'll help us quite a lot if you just do one every now and then, and it won't fill up your wall :D

I'm really happy that you guys are so willing to jump on this and help us to spread the word about the site/community. It's like a dream come true to have so many people supporting my project. Thanks for giving back!

Statistically, in a year, we'll have 21,265 +1s. Or should I say 1 +21,265?

This is a great idea, Carl.
Sadly, I don't have a Google account, but I'll be sure to find a valid reason to get one soon!

The "Like" button is gone? I can't see it, it has disappeared. And yes, before you ask, I have tried switching browsers but it's not there. ???
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

I removed it. I believe it was causing problems with certain browsers where it was. I might bring it back, but it would be in another spot. Facebook lets you post about something and like it easily from their site anyway. Google's new social network is growing nicely. I'll stick with using that program, for now. It's non-intrusive.

Another thing that will likely come up missing is the green bar. It looks horrible on mobile phones. I will add a couple of links that get people to the two sites in the blue bar.

Google accounts are very easy to set up.  I have my main e-mail account there, plus I have several single purpose accounts to receive e-mails from certain sources.  It saves me the trouble of having to sort through e-mails that, while somewhat important, don't require regular attention.

The best part is that G-Mail is completely spam-free.  They have a fantastic spam filter.  Sometimes...it's too good.  Way better than Yahoo has been over the past few years in that respect.  Plus, G-Mail doesn't try to force-feed me a browser add-on every few weeks.  I hate those things.
Old forum mods never die.  We just get archived.

Oh wait, it can be done from out of Facebook? Than I've probably did that already. I don't see any +1 thingy however when I'm on google.com.
