Confused
« on: December 29, 2015, 09:49:52 PM »
OK so, When you upload a lot or sim to the exchange, and then somehow it gets deleted by the sims 3 team without warning or even notice to you of why it got deleted, what is to be done ? Can that lot or sim be reuploaded after being changed ? Or what ?

I uploaded a lot a month ago, and I just now noticed its gone, its been listed as "deleted by the sims 3 team, it may have violated the terms of service" So when I go and read the terms of service, there's nothing in there of what I did wrong that I can find, unless I missed it.

I'm confused

Elsa, I think that you may have a better chance of finding out about that by asking the Sim 3 team at the EA exchange, as they would have the ability to explain it to you. Carl's site isn't associated with EA or their exchange.

Others here may have run into something similar in the past, if so they may be able to help you understand what's going on.

I'd be confused by it too. No warning or notice about the removal seems unusual to me, maybe it happened while someone was enjoying their eggnog a bit too much.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

I am not sure what to say other than you may need to contact EA's Customer service about the problem.

If you'd like, you can use the link below.

Hope this helps, :)

@Elsa Silver Dragon

I did notice as I was putting the link together that EA's customer service may be working on holiday support hours. Click the link below for more details.

Well according to the answers board I got redirected to in order to fully properly detail my confusion, it turns out its an automatic thing. If your uploads, say I upload a lot, does not meet a minimum requirement of downloads, it gets automatically culled so the exchange wont get backed up. But if it passes that minimum requirement of downloads it will stay in the exchange, I am allowed to reupload it, but just name it differently is all I need to do

Thanks again all!
