Fishing in swimingpool a hidden trait?

I saw my childsim was able to fish in the swimmingpool whithout having the insane trait. Is this some sort of hidden trait, or something he has learned on scouting? Is it hereditatly? That's what I'm hoping for.

Strange because I've had the same thing with two children and neither parent has a trait that would cause that. Maybe they grow out of it (i.e. it's make believe).

I believe children, and Sims with Childish and Insane traits can fish in swimming pools. But why is this in the Challenges section?

Sorry, my mistake.
I actually thought it could belong in the Generations board, as I've never saw this option before Generations was installed here.
My childsim has grown up to a teen and after he did he couldn't fish in the swimming pool anymore. Perhaps it's just something childs could do without being childish or insane.

That's a children thing, it's like make-believe, it does help improve their Fishing Skills though. No Leto, it has been before GEN.

Children being able to fish in the pool has been around since the game was released.  They can catch actual fish, too.

I've had one adult with and angler trait able to fish in a swimming pool. I'm not sure if it was a glitch or not though.

I have had an adult fish in the swimming pool too.  He had the childish trait also.  I changed it, because I just thought it was too weird for sims to fish in a swimming pool.  lol

Your Sims doesn't have to be childish to fish in swimming pools. He/she can be insane too.

Possibly the Inappropriate trait allows fishing in a pool, but I'm not certain.
